Hello Pre-Vet Club Members! My name is Sabra Amend, I am a junior here at KU
majoring in spanish with my career interest being pre-veterinary medicine. I
have been an animal lover all my life. I have a dog, a horse, and two ferrets.
In the future, I hope to own my own veterinary practice for small animals. Currently,
I work at Wakarusa Veterinary Hospital which is so much fun and is such a great
learning experience. I'm so glad that we've started the Pre-Vet Club again,
if anyone ever has any questions, feel free to email me or give me a call. I
know we'll have a great year together!

Purpose: Through this club we hope to encourage interest in
Veterinary Medicine as a career option and help existing aspirants with various
aspects from applying to Veterinary colleges to getting animal experience.
